I am Lingyi Xu (Pron. LIN-YEE HSU), a PhD student in Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Vijaya B. Kolachalama and Prof. Jennifer Beane. I seek to address the challenge of modality missingness in multimodal learning across visual, tabular, and textual data. My work spans graph neural networks (GNNs), vision transformers (ViTs), large language models (LLMs), and vision-language models (VLMs).
I am co-running the CDS PhD Student Seminar Series that meets bi-weekly on Fridays. Feel free to ping me if you are interested in giving a talk!
